Like many businesses at this time the Havering Chamber is evolving to better meet the economic landscape and the requirements of businesses in the borough. The Chamber now has a new website address, a new look with our branding and a fresh new website to better meet the needs of our members and provide better information on important business activities in the borough.
We will be regularly updating the website with details of benefits for our members, networking events and local business news so keep visiting the website and keep updated.

Exciting news! The Havering Chamber is launching a membership drive supported by Chamber members TimeFM.
Starting in September we will be advertising for 12 weeks every day on TimeFM to raise awareness of how we support Havering businesses and to attract new members. More members means more businesses for us all to network with and more income for the Chamber which all goes back into supporting our membership.
And even better news is that any existing Chamber member who introduces a new, joining member will get a week of FREE advertising on TimeFM to promote their business. In fact if you introduce a new member to join the Chamber you will BOTH receive a week’s free advertising.
So, who do you know that you could introduce to the Chamber?

Havering Chamber in Action
The Chamber runs monthly networking meetings, usually held on the last Wednesday of the month. We try to hold each meeting at a Chamber member’s premises allowing them to showcase their business. We also organise ad hoc events across the year focused around specific business opportunities within Havering and the needs of our members and, of course, we let out hair down on social occasions at our Summer BBQ and Christmas party.

The Chamber website now features a Member’s Directory which allows our members to be searched by name, industry sector or any key word. So, if you are looking for a service in the Havering area check our members first as you can be assured these are businesses you can trust.

The 2023 Havering Showcase took place on 18 October and was formally opened by the Worshipful Mayor of Havering.
We were very fortunate to have some excellent speakers and the feedback from our exhibitors was that some good business was done and excellent future contacts made.

Cost – Members £5, Non-members – £10
Replacing our monthly breakfast meeting this is an evening event so if you normally struggle to make our morning networking this is for you!
The event starts at 6pm, a Summer grill will be served from 6.15pm, there is obviously a bar available and the event ends at 8pm.
We will be hosted by Romford and Gidea Park Rugby Club. It’s easy to find on Crow Lane in Romford and there is plenty of free parking.
