On 23 September Chamber Chair Janet Smyth and Executive Committee member Carol Hussey attended the Havering Small Business Awards to present the award for Best Newcomer, sponsored by the Chamber.
Held at the wonderful Lumiere Romford , it was a privilege to stand in front of a full room and announce the winner as Varley’s Upminster! 🏆
Alex, owner of Varley’s, was blown away by the win and it was lovely to see just how much the recognition meant to him and his business.
It was a fantastic evening celebrating the achievements of so many brilliant local businesses and a real pleasure for the Chamber to be part of such a special event.
Congratulations to Alex and the whole team at Varleys, we look forward to seeing you at Chamber events in the future.
